Tutoring at TLC
Every learner is different, and our tutoring is built that way from the first session. We begin by getting to know your child: their strengths, the areas where they’re stuck, and how they learn best. From there, we work with families to create a focused plan with clear goals and progress updates so you always know how things are going.
Whether your learner needs to close a gap, keep pace with grade-level work, or move ahead, we use effective practices based on individual needs to build lasting skills rather than quick fixes.

We start every learning plan with a complimentary screening. We get to know your needs and you get to know if we’re the right fit for you.

We schedule three sessions in three weeks (or less) so we can get to know the learner and develop a working relationship.

After 3 sessions, we meet again with the family to share early impressions and make initial recommendations for a learning plan.

Following the consultation meeting, we will outline a series of tutoring sessions and goals in a long-term learning plan that meets the priorities and schedule of the family.
